Terms and Conditions
PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
Upon registration, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost of your workshop(s). Payment of this deposit confirms your reservation. Participants are not guaranteed a spot in any workshop without a paid deposit. Payment of your deposit will be taken as your acceptance of these terms and conditions and will constitute a contract between yourself and Brian Booth Craig Studios. Your full balance is due by April 30, 2019.
50% Deposit: Non-refundable
Any amount paid beyond the 50% deposit will be refunded before the April 30th deadline.
After April 30th, all payments are non-refundable.
If full balance is not received by April 30th, Brian Booth Craig Studios may consider workshop and housing selection forfeit and offer either, or both, to another participant.
All financial transaction fees made at the time of payment are non-refundable. Refund transaction fees will be deducted from the amount of the refund.
All prices include all fees associated with instruction (instructor fees, model fees, studio fees), admission fees to all museums visited as part of the tour or visited in conjunction with a specific workshop. Prices also include a Final Dinner on the last day of the workshop.
For those selecting to utilize housing options, prices include 14-night accommodations beginning on the Sunday night before the start of the workshop.
Prices do not include transportation to or from locations, nor do they include transportation while in the area. Prices do not include meals other than the Final Dinner.
Materials required for the workshops are the sole responsibility of the participants unless otherwise stated in the workshop descriptions.
Accommodations are contracted through independent real-estate agents who select a housing option agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the independent real-estate agent, in their use of the accommodations. These accommodations are only for the use of the registered workshop participant and overnight guest are prohibited.
Pets are not allowed in either the studio or the housing.
Smoking is not allowed in any of the studio facilities or housing accommodations.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Check in to accommodated housing is Sunday afternoon. If you will be arriving earlier, we will provide a place to leave your luggage until your apartment is ready.
Checkout is at 10:00 am on the day of departure.
The owners and employees of Brian Booth Craig Studios shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the workshop participants. Brian Booth Craig Studios assume no liability for any loss, damage, expense, injury or inconvenience by reason of any defects in the structure of the property, plumbing, electric system, gas, water, or failures in the supply of utilities for either the studio facilities or housing. For any loss or damage to the studio or housing facilities or fixtures/fittings caused by workshop participants, the cost of repair or replacement will be paid by the participants to the owners of the accommodations and/or studio facilities.
The safety and welfare of children is the sole responsibility of their parent and guardian.
CANCELLATION AND SUBSTITUTIONS
We reserve the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient registration. Participants will be notified of cancellations by the registration deadline as outlined in Dates and Deadlines. We reserve the right to substitute another qualified instructor and/or amend any workshop in the event of unforeseen circumstances at any time. A full refund will be made in the case of cancellation. We will refund any travel related costs.
Refunds do not apply when your course is canceled as a result of a risk of war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions and similar events beyond our control.
We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you may suffer during the period of your course due to accident, illness, bodily injury or loss of equipment, of belongings or from any other case.
It is solely the responsibility of the workshop participants to obtain travel and health insurance while enrolled in Brian Booth Craig Studios Workshops.
PASSPORTS AND/OR VISAS
It is the sole responsibility of the workshop participant to obtain travel documents necessary to attend the workshops.
DATES, DEADLINES, AND NOTIFICATION
Registration deadline and cancellation notification deadline- MARCH 31, 2019
Registration for specific workshops may be extended based on availability
Final payment deadline- APRIL 30, 2019
Notification will be made in a timely manner in the event of any necessary changes to any workshops
Brian Booth Craig Studios reserve the right to remove any disruptive participants from the workshops and/or housing without refund.
Participants in the workshops are required to have a functioning cell phone while attending the workshops.
